Plug-and-play wine dispensing The KeyKeg® concept adds a new dimension to the world of dispensing. The wine keg is designed on the bag-in-ball principle. The outside PET housing protects a flexible inner bag, which holds the sparkling wine or cider. The content is dispensed by pressurizing the space between the bag and the ball.
The inner bag has a special evacuation strip which, together with the constant overpressure on the bag, ensures that the content is dispensed right down to the last drop of wine. The specially designed inner bag is odourless and tasteless, and has superior barrier qualities. This allows dispensing sparkling wine or cider using air instead of CO2 and, once the KeyKeg® is tapped, the sparking wine or cider will stay fresh in the keg for many weeks.
The over-counter dispense systems specially designed for the KeyKeg® are all fitted with an integral air compressor set to a constant pressure of between 1.7 and 3 bar, depending on the region in which it will be used. KeyKeg® can also simply replace conventional kegs in conventional dispensing installations. For both solutions a range of dispensers are available depending on the ambient conditions and the wanted capacity.
Only one PET KeyKeg20 replaces more than 26 0,75 cl wine bottles. The KeyKeg Wine saves therefore a lot of handling time and space for your clients. Once the air has escaped, the empty keg takes up little or no space, so small outlets can use their storage space for full kegs only.
